Corinis is Java based - with the use of XSL and java function you can implement pretty much any design or combine any functions you want. This article shows you why and how this works.
This document shows you how to build the corinis modules using subversion.

What is Corinis?
Corinis is an open source web framework. You can find out more unter What is Corinis
Corinis Demo
Have a look at our online-demo under demo.corinis.com . The online demo does not reflect the most current state of our packages, but it should help you get to know the admin pages and some of the features.
Download
Download the packages using the package pages at Download . There is also a windows installer with a prefilled database available.
Development Status
Heavy work is currently done on a new corinis release. Upcoming features:
Better Caching support to reduce database access where not needed (ie. a publisher who creates xml files for forum/cms on each server) (done: performance testing with up to 100 concurrent users didnt break a sweat - more testing will be done)
Java 1.5/1.6 support: (done)
Better default-servlet/template integration: There will be a couple of servlets available that allow usage of most corinis-features without having to create jsps. This will also greatly improve implementation of "default"-websites/portals (done: examples are in process and a new howto is on its way. As a side effect: a new XUL based admin is almost ready)
Better Logging (done)
IP-Banning and Keyword filtering for almost all packages with support for bayes databases to remove spam-posts in all modules
many more minor improvements
You can use the mailing-lists and the forum to contact us and each other.
