RSS and Corinis What is RSS? RSS means Really Simple Syndication and allows users of your webpage to get updates from your site. For more information about RSS see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS I like that.. how do I use it? Since RSS (2.0) is a XML format, you can simply write a small xsl that transforms the output from modules into RSS. For an example how it is done with the cms see the Corinis wiki. But it can also be used with the forum, the alerter, actually with almost all modules available (I don't think it makes much sense to create a rss for the voting or the core module, but it is possible). |
