Opening the Installation HowTo

First go to http://dev.corinis.org/corinis and go to the Installation-HowTo. Read the document carefully since you should find everything you need

Creation of application directory

After setting up your application server (e.g. Apache TomCat), create your application directory according to the HowTo

install.jsp

The install.jsp guides you through the installation. In the first screen you set up all necessary directories. Please do this carefully. Fields in black are already created, fields in orange will be created and fields in red need to be changed. Normally only the Install-directory should be red. There you have to indicate the directory where the application.zip files are (e.g. Core-..zip, Cms-..zip - which you have downloaded e.g. via the link in the HowTo)

Basic configuration

In the next screen you'll have to do some basic configuration. The name of the application normally is the name of your project/website etc. You can also specify a date and time format.

The admin password will be the password of the admin user, which is the user with all rights (of course it could be changed later).

In the database section you'll have to specify your database-connection.

The email-section is for telling the system which smtp-host to use for outgoing emails and which suffix should be used (e.g. this will be used as Senderaddresssuffix)

Verification

After clicking on "Start the installation" you'll see the most important configurations on a verification-screen to recheck and make sure that everything is all right. If so - click "Install now"

The next step sets up your database. This screen shows you what will be done. If everything is fine click "Database setup..."

Now your database will be set up. You see a progress bar and a detail window where you can see all details of what is done.

When the progress-bar reached 100% you can click on "Login to the administration interface" to be redirected to the login-screen.

Login with the user "admin" and the password you chose. You can also choose the language of the administration interface (currently only german and english are available)

First Login

After your first login you will be forwarded directly to the Module-installation-screen. It shows you which templates and modules are available for installation. The Core-Server is already installed, but the CMS is not. Select the CMS and click "install/upgrade modules"

When the module is installed correctly you will see a screen saying so. Now you have to re-run the setup to create the necessary tables in the database etc. Click "Configurator"

Since you could have installed more applications you can choose the application for which you want to run the setup. Please select your application and click "run setup..."

You'll see the setup-screen you already know again. After the progress-bar reached 100% go back to the administration interface and refresh it. You now should have the CMS module available.
