You can send direct messages to other users. It depends on the modul if this function is explicit available or workflow-integrated (as for example messages for the workflow editor-qualitmanager).

Messages were internally saved and can - according to the setup - be send also via email (automatically). Some modules offers special integrated messages as for example the CMS were you can get from a message directly to the document.

You can be informed about new messages via Popup or email.
